Get an Estimate

Our online moving calculator provides estimates 24/7 for our most economical shipping option, the curbside delivery. If you need full service delivery or an international rate, our experienced sales staff can quickly provide those over the phone or by our contact form.

Most domestic shipments take two to three weeks from pick-up to delivery, but can be expedited if you need it fast. Our shipping process always begins with an estimate, and although you can get your price online 24/7, call our sales staff to make sure you have the best pricing and latest promotions.

Schedule a Pick Up

After receiving an estimate you should request the paperwork, which can be provided electronically or in writing. To book your job, fill out the paperwork online or in writing and email, fax, or mail it back to us.

Upon receiving your paperwork, our warehouse manager will call you within 24 to 48 hours to schedule an appointment for pick up. All appointments are two to four hour windows and scheduled between Monday through Friday. Some locations offer Saturday pick ups, but this may incur an additional charge.

Pick Up

With over three hundred locations nationwide, we can deploy a team of professional movers to your location quickly. If you need your pick-up fast please call our staff to check or availability.

Ship Smart may be able to pick up items the same day you get an estimate, depending on availability. Same day pick up, onsite packing, and onsite crating have additional charges. All pick ups are white glove or full service, which means that you do not need to do anything except sign an inventory sheet.

Packing

After your items are loaded onto our trucks, they are moved to our warehouse where they are custom packed and/or crated by highly skilled experts before shipping to the destination.

All our packing professionals are Ship Smart certified and mimic the way that manufacturers pack their items. This ensures that all your items will arrive without damage. Ship Smart also provides a full replacement insurance policy that covers your items from start to finish.

It is important to note that they are not a moving company but a shipping company as the process is entirely different. Since I was fairly flexible on my pick up date and completely flexible on my delivery date-- it was a wonderful resource. Dealing with the main office was easy and the quote they provided was reasonable. The actual invoice was greater than the quote but that was because I had underestimated how much I was actually moving. When the Texas Team picked up the items -- they were so nice and accommodating and were not flustered at all by the extra items. They were professional and really great to work with. It was a hot day in the summer and they were had to go up and down several flights of stairs-- however it was not a problem for them. They were really wonderful to work with.They packed up the boxes in a professional crate and sealed it with care. The items were received in perfect condition and the driver was able to place the crates in the garage. I was quoted a time frame which was fine since I was not in a hurry to get the items. Again this is a freight company and if you need the items unloaded, unpacked and delivered by a certain time-- perhaps this is not the company for you.
