The Ship Smart Annual Scholarship

Four awards worth $1,000, $500, and two for $300 will be awarded by Ship Smart for our Ship Smart Scholarship. The scholarships will be sent directly to the school’s, university’s, or college’s financial aid office.

Applicants must be current, full-time, or part-time students of an accredited, non-accredited institute, truck driving school, or other logistics program. They must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to become eligible. There is no age requirement.

To apply for the scholarship, submit a 1200 to 1500-word original essay or article, in PDF format, about packing or shipping. The article must be original and may not have been posted anywhere online. You may read about some of our services for ideas:

Your essay or article will be posted to our website, with recognition to the author, and will be linked from this page. The winning articles or essays will be selected by the Ship Smart Scholarship committee, and the winner will be announced on our website and notified via email.
