Our Pick Ups:
With over 300 warehouses nationwide, it comes as no surprise that we can pick up from almost any location. Once scheduled, we can typically arrange a pickup with a few days’ notice. When on location, our standard procedure is to wrap furniture with pad wraps and blankets and tag boxes with identification markers so everything can be transported safely and easily back to our local facility. We can also pack any smaller miscellaneous items into boxes on-site if you need assistance.
Our Packing and/or Crating Services:
Once the items are back at the warehouse, our standard packing protocol is to bubble-wrap and cardboard-box the furniture. Then, everything gets safely banded and secured to shipping pallets. We do this for two reasons: 1) so that the items are consolidated and secured, which, of course, reduces the chance for loss during transit, and 2) so they can easily be loaded on and off the truck using industrial machinery, eliminating the possibility of damage due to improper handling.
For high-value, fragile, and/or delicate items, we can offer custom wooden crating. The crating procedure varies depending on the complexity and nature of the piece, of course, but some of our options include:
- Full wood, Styrofoam-lined crates for items (antique furniture and artwork).
- Insulated sectional crates for electronics (high-value servers).
- A-frame, lined crates for upright pieces (fragile mirrors and framed paintings)
- Suspended crates for items that can be damaged by their own weight (chandeliers).
- Skeleton crates for larger/heavier pieces that just need that little bit extra.
Our Shipping Options:
We ship via consolidation, so your cost is based on your shipment, which is why we can offer such competitive pricing. Our standard transit times may vary based on your shipping origin and destination, the time of year, and weather conditions. On average, these run about two to four weeks, but you can track your order at any time by contacting our customer service. If you are under a time constraint, we can provide expedited services and guarantee delivery dates and times.
Our Delivery Services:
We can offer full-service white-glove delivery, where all items are unpacked, brought inside, and placed. Or, for those looking to save a little, we can offer curbside delivery instead; simply dropping the shipment off at your residence by appointment.
